Yesterday the CW confirmed that "Smallville" along with other shows will be returning next year. "Smallville" will be returning for its 9th year (WOW).
Expect to see Tom Welling (Clark Kent), Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan), Erica Durance (Lois Lane), Arron Ashmore (Jimmy Olsen) and Justin Harltey (Green Arrow/Oliver Queen) return next year.
Unfortunately my sources have not indicated if Cassidy Freeman (Tess Mercer) will return next year.
Let's hope so because I LOOOVE Tess on "Smallville" she's so deliciously evil.
