Move over Marvel, DC is FINALLY coming out with more comic films. After the success of "Batman Begins," "Superman Returns," and most recently "The Dark Knight," (and comming March 6, "Watchmen") WBs has announced the release dates for the 2 new comic films Green Lantern and Jonah Hex.
Green Lantern (even thought it has not been "Green Lighted") is stated to be released on December 17, 2010. Now, WB's is currently in talks with "Casino Royale" director Martin Campbell to direct the film. However, no word yet as to who was cast as Green Lantern
Jonah Hex is in production and is stated to be released on August 16, 2010. The film will star Josh Brolin and John Malkovich and is to be directed by Jimmy Hayward.
And to other good news Legendary Pictures announced the name of the next Superman film: "Superman Unleashed." No word as of who is cast in this film. All I know is that Bryan Singer is signed on to direct the film.
Don't 4get to see "Watchmen" it comes out next Friday.
